Deacon Fungchatou Lo |

Dr Fungchatou Lo is a Vicar and the Director of Grace Lutheran Hmong Ministry in Brooklyn Park, MN, and a student of Concordia St. Louis Seminary in the Ethic Immigrant Institute of Theology (EIIT) program. He is the Hmong Mission Facilitator for North America Mission and the Director for Hmong Mission Society’s Thailand Hmong Mission project. He has been a missionary to Thailand, Hong Kong and China. He is the chairperson for the LCMS Hmong Pastoral Conference. Dr. Lo was a college professor teaching social work for the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and St. John’s University for eleven years prior to accept the call to the ministry. He is the sole author of the book The Promised Land: Socioeconomic Reality of the Hmong People, 2001; and a co-author of the book Hmong Lives: From Laos to La Crosse, 1994.
